Eliška is a founding partner of EXPATLEGAL and, together with Azra, leads the office team. In her practice, she specializes in immigration law, issues related to obtaining Czech citizenship, commercial law, and real estate law, especially in the context of business and investments by international clients in the Czech Republic.

She provides strategic consulting in the ​relocation of foreign talents, residence permits and proceedings for the granting of Czech citizenship. She also focuses on setting up corporate structures, and deals with business transactions and real estate projects. By combining immigration and business law, she is able to offer clients solutions that reflect their business goals.

She gained experience in renowned law firms and at the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN in New York, where she focused on human rights issues and international law. She studied law at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and at the Università degli Studi di Siena in Italy. She passed the bar exam with honours.

She holds a Ph.D. degree in public international law and is actively involved at the Faculty of Law, Charles University. She is a member of the Centre for Migration and Refugee Law and is a founding member of the Association of Immigration Lawyers in the Czech Republic.

Outside of advocacy, she enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Azra is a founding partner of EXPATLEGAL and, together with Eliška, leads the office team. In her practice, she has long focused on immigration law and issues of Czech citizenship, especially in cases of individuals and families with international or historical ties.

She provides comprehensive legal support to individuals and families in achieving their long-term residence status through applications for citizenship by granting (naturalization) and by descent. Thanks to her detailed knowledge of decision-making practice of courts and authorities and many years of experience, she can guide clients through complex cases with historical or international contexts.

In addition to immigration law, she also deals with commercial and labour law, especially in situations where a foreigner’s business or employment is related to his or her residency status.

She studied law at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and at Universitat de Barcelona. After working at a renowned boutique law firm, she founded her own law practice, which she subsequently developed under EXPATLEGAL.

Azra is the Vice-Chair of the Association of Immigration Lawyers in the Czech Republic, is a member of the Working Group for Alien Law of the Czech Bar Association, and in 2025 was elected a member of the Supervisory Board of the Czech Bar Association.

She provides legal services in Czech, English, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and Spanish.

Outside of advocacy, she enjoys spending her time with her family, travelling, and going to concerts and theatre performances. She is often accompanied by her Labrador, who is the unofficial mascot of the office.

Lenka works at EXPATLEGAL as a lawyer and has long specialized in the issue of obtaining citizenship in the Czech Republic. She deals both with cases of claiming citizenship by descent and proceedings for granting citizenship after meeting the legal requirement of residence.

She provides clients with comprehensive legal support throughout the entire procedure, from assessing compliance with conditions to preparing supporting documents to representing them before the relevant administrative authorities. Thanks to her long-term experience in this area, she has detailed knowledge of the requirements of administrative authorities and the practical specifics of individual types of proceedings.

She gained experience during internships at first instance courts and subsequently at several prominent law firms in Prague. During her studies at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, she completed two semesters at the Universität Hamburg, Fakultät für Rechtswissenschaft.

She provides legal services in Czech, English and German, and also has a passive command of Spanish.

Outside of advocacy, she spends time with her family and enjoys travelling, studying foreign languages, and modern history.

Enes works at EXPATLEGAL as an attorney and specializes primarily in immigration and asylum law. He represents clients in administrative and judicial proceedings, including cases with international implications and more complex procedural issues.

In his practice, he deals mainly with residency issues, international protection and related public law aspects. In addition, he also provides legal advice in the area of civil and commercial law, especially in situations where private law relationships intersect with migration issues.

In addition to his legal practice, he works at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, where he teaches public international law, and regularly speaks at professional conferences focused on immigration and refugee law. He completed a study stay at the University of Zagreb at the Department of European Public Law.

He graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law, Charles University.

Outside of advocacy, he plays squash and football, and enjoys modern history.

Klára works at EXPATLEGAL as a lawyer and specializes in commercial, civil and immigration law. In addition to residency matters, she focuses on the law of contracts, corporate matters, and real estate legal issues.

She provides clients with support in setting up business relationships, preparing and reviewing contractual documentation, and with everyday corporate agendas. In the area of real estate, she participates in the preparation and review of transfer documentation and the resolution of related legal issues, including in cases with an international element.

She gained her initial experience in a law firm and during internships at non-profit organizations dealing with immigration and asylum law. She also completed an internship at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Istanbul. During her studies at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, she spent two semesters at Yeditepe University in Istanbul.

She provides legal services in Czech, English and Turkish.

Outside of advocacy, she enjoys sports and traveling.

At EXPATLEGAL, Adéla specializes mainly in family law with an international element. She represents clients in divorces, child custody arrangements, property settlements, and inheritance issues.

She has extensive experience with divorces of foreigners in the Czech Republic, cross-border child custody, and the preparation of wills and the settling of inheritance issues of foreigners living in the Czech Republic. In addition to family law, she also deals with general immigration issues, especially residency issues of individuals and families. Thanks to this combination, she is able to resolve situations where family law is naturally combined with the client's residency status.

She gained experience in a non-profit organization providing legal support to foreigners and subsequently in the administrative department of the Municipal Court in Prague, which gives her practical insight into decision-making practices. During her studies, she spent a semester at the Universidade da Coruña.

David works at EXPATLEGAL as a junior lawyer and focuses mainly on commercial and immigration law. He deals with regular corporate agendas of companies as well as providing legal support for startups and technology projects.

He participates in the preparation and review of contractual documentation, setting up relationships between partners, and other commercial law issues. He also focuses on the relocation of founders and employees from abroad, and finding legal solutions for the employment of foreign talents. Thanks to his combination of business and immigration specialization, he participates in cases where business naturally intersects with residency status issues.

He gained experience while studying at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, where he graduated in 2024, both in a law firm with general practice and during professional internships at the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.

He provides legal services in Czech and English and is also studying German.

Outside of advocacy, he enjoys running and has a long-term interest in living a healthy lifestyle.

Blanka works at EXPATLEGAL as a junior lawyer and focuses mainly on immigration and civil law. She has long specialized in the issues associated with the acquisition of Czech citizenship, both by descent and via applications for citizenship granted after fulfilling the legal conditions of residency in the Czech Republic.

She participates in the comprehensive administration of residency matters of individuals and families, represents clients in administrative proceedings, and deals with issues of long-term and permanent residence. Thanks to her specialization in citizenship issues, she can help clients strategically set their future legal status in the Czech Republic.

She gained experience during her studies at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, where she graduated in 2024, by working mainly in law firms.

She provides legal services in Czech and English, and also speaks German.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling and sports, especially running.

Anna works at EXPATLEGAL as a junior lawyer and focuses mainly on labour and immigration law. A significant part of her practice concerns the acquisition of Czech citizenship, especially in cases where clients claim citizenship by descent.

She provides legal advice to individuals and employers on issues of employing foreigners and on residency matters. She specializes in employment relations with an international element, prepares contractual documentation and represents clients in residence proceedings.

She gained her experience while studying at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, where she graduated in 2025, in a large law firm with an international reach.

In her free time, she enjoys playing sports and spending time with her family and friends.

Halyna works at EXPATLEGAL as a paralegal and focuses mainly on immigration law. She deals with the agenda of residence permits and issues of acquiring Czech citizenship.

She is a graduate of the master’s degree programme in International Law at Uzhhorod National University. She gained professional experience at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic and subsequently at a law firm, where she participated in solving cases with international implications.

She provides legal services in Czech, English, Ukrainian and Russian.

Outside of work, she enjoys attending theatre performances and discovering new cultures.

Marcela works at EXPATLEGAL as the office manager and ensures the daily operation of the office. She is responsible for ensuring administrative support for the team, handling communication with clients and overseeing organizational management of individual cases.

She is a graduate of the master’s degree programme in English Philology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Pardubice. During her studies, she spent two semesters at the Estonian University of Tartu Ülikool, where she continued to study English linguistics.

She gained professional experience during her studies of teaching foreign languages ​​and while creating e-learning courses for language schools and corporate training. Foreign languages ​​are her long-terms passion and she has also worked as a tour guide in the past.

She speaks Czech, English, Spanish, Russian and German.

Outside of work, she enjoys Latin American dancing, reading, and playing board games.

David works at EXPATLEGAL as a paralegal and supports the team, especially in the area of ​​immigration. He helps with the preparation of documents for residence proceedings, assists with communication with authorities, and provides administrative support for client cases.

He is a student at the Faculty of Law, Charles University. He has gained experience in a general practice law firm, as an assistant in the legal department of a corporate company, and during an internship at a first instance court in Prague.

He speaks fluent Czech, English and Vietnamese.

In addition to his studies, he is interested in music and Vietnamese culture.

Martina works at EXPATLEGAL as a paralegal, helps prepare documents and provides administrative support for legal cases. She mainly assists in processing documentation and communicating with clients.

She is a student at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and is currently pursuing a master's degree at the University of Economics in Prague, where she received a bachelor's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy in 2024. During her studies, she spent a semester at IE University in Madrid.

She gained experience in a notary’s office and during an internship at a first instance court in Prague.

She speaks Czech, English and Spanish.

She enjoys spending her free time travelling and doing sports.
